The Operation

Hello. Just to let u guys know. I fell on Saturday and fractured my wrist. To be more precise, I fractured my scaphoid which is at the base of your thumb. I didn't really know that it was a fracture so I didn't think much of it until trng finished. So mum took me to sports council and Dr. cormac referred me to NUH cos his friend works there as a hand surgeon. I had my cast done on sat just to keep the bones in place. So I went to NUH today again and Dr. Aymeric Lim decided to put a screw in so it'll heal faster and it was done under local anesthetic so throughout the whole procedure I was awake. Couldn't feel a thing except that my forearm was awfully cold and hot at the same time. The worst part was when he inserted 2 needles in each arm for the medicine and the anesthetic. The whole op was done in an hour and I went home after that. However, when the anesthetic wore off I felt the full blow of the pain.. AND IT HURT DAMN BLOODY BADLY. The doc gave me some photos/x-rays as a souvenir.
